• Video game music emerges as a powerful new audience gateway as RPO presents ‘Worlds of Fantasy: Video Games in Concert’

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is set to celebrate the artistry of video game music with ‘Worlds of Fantasy: Video Games in Concert’ conducted by acclaimed composer and producer Eímear Noone at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 4 June 2025.

At the end of January this year eleven RPO benefactors joined the Orchestra on the first leg of its tour to Austria and Germany and attended concerts in Vienna, Hamburg, and Hannover. Our intrepid travellers were escorted by David and Henry of the RPO Development Team, and they were joined along the way by Sarah Bardwell (Managing Director) and Huw Davies (Deputy Managing Director), as well as the Orchestra’s Music Director Vasily Petrenko, who was conducting all the concerts, and Tom Philpott, the RPO’s Director of Artistic Planning and Partnerships.

We are thrilled to share the culmination of our most recent initiative for The Lullaby Project. This initiative empowers parents who are navigating challenging circumstances, including those with experience of the criminal justice system and individuals seeking asylum and refuge.
