John Williams’ music achieves the rare feat of enhancing the films it accompanies while also enjoying a distinguished life in the concert hall. Violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter is a passionate advocate and a distinguished interpreter of his work. She has developed a close bond with the American composer, who notably dedicated his Violin Concerto No.2 to her in 2021 and personally invited her to perform on the soundtrack of the latest Indiana Jones film.

Anne-Sophie Mutter will perform a selection of John Willams' film score arrangements alongside his Violin Concerto No.2, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert will be conducted by Lina González-Granados, a rising star who has recently garnered acclaim with leading orchestras across the United States. She also leads the Orchestra in a performance of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s fiery Capriccio Espagnol.
