Get ready for another unmissable afternoon of soul music with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as the Royal Albert Hall is filled with the seminal sounds of the iconic Motown label, as well as other sensational soul artists of the era.

This get-up-and-dance concert features songs by the artists who brought gospel, blues and soul music to new heights such as: Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Jackson 5, Martha Reeves and, the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin.

We are thrilled to, once again, be joined by star vocalists Gloria Onitiri and Trevor Dion Nicholas for a host of classic Motown anthems, including: R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Reach Out (I’ll Be There), Dancing in the Street, Midnight Train to Georgia, Stop! In the Name of Love, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, My Guy, Proud Mary, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, You Can’t Hurry Love and My Girl.

We are also thrilled to welcome back special guest presenter, Angie Greaves (Smooth Radio).

'Gloria Onitiri is fabulous, lighting up the stage whenever she enters.' Financial Times
'Trevor Dion Nicholas has a commanding presence and roof-raising vocal prowess.' The Telegraph

There is also an evening performance at 7.30pm.
