Principal Tuba

Kevin Morgan has been Principal Tuba of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for fifteen years.

Whilst still at school, he became an Associate of the Royal College of Music and in 1978 gained a Foundation Scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music. Kevin has played on many recordings and film soundtracks and has appeared as a soloist on numerous occasions, the highlight being the release of his debut CD, Virtuoso Tuba, on the ASV label.

Kevin has been involved with teaching the tuba for the past thirty years and is presently a tuba teacher at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
