Horn

Finlay Bain began his musical training as a choral scholar at St Paul’s Cathedral and later at Hampton School, where he started learning the horn with Richard Kennedy.

After leaving school, Finlay studied at the Royal College of Music with Simon Rayner, John Ryan and Jeff Bryant, followed by the Guildhall School of Music &Drama with David Pyatt, Alec Frank-Gemmill and Richard Bissill. During his studies he was a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and European Union Youth Orchestra.
