Viola

Tríona Milne began playing the viola at the age of eleven amongst a family of violinists. Born in Ireland, she grew up in a household full of music, with a particular interest in folk and classical music. She left to further her studies in London at the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music before freelancing in Britain and Ireland.

She joined the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017 and has enjoyed touring the world whilst playing fantastic repertoire with great conductors ever since.

Tríona loves to paint watercolours in her spare time, often inspired by the great music she is lucky enough to play in her everyday life.
