Vasily Petrenko continues his tour of European music festivals, joined by acclaimed pianist Bruce Liu for a performance of Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. This is framed by Grieg's characterful Suite No.1 from Peer Gynt and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, a colourful and evocative symphonic suite based on tales from the One Thousand and One Nights.
