Vasily Petrenko begins his European tour in Merano, joined by acclaimed cellist Pablo Ferrández for a performance of Dvořák's Cello Concerto. The Concerto is framed by Grieg's characterful Suite No.1 from Peer Gynt and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, a colourful and evocative symphonic suite based on tales from the One Thousand and One Nights.
