The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra warmly welcomes back Chloé van Soeterstède to conduct this delightful array of classical favourites, including Dvořák’s richly romantic Cello Concerto – performed here by accomplished Romanian soloist, Andrei Ioniță.

Also featuring Mendelssohn’s fairytale-inspired The Fair Melusina Overture, as well as Brahms' third, and penultimate, symphony – a rich, romantic and lyrical masterpiece, often considered the composer’s most lyrical and best crafted.
