An orchestral extravaganza featuring the best of British music. A Last Night of the Proms wouldn’t be complete without flag-waving favourites like Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory, whilst soprano Gemma Summerfield will serenade us with highlights from operas such as Gianni Schicchi and Guiditta, alongside timeless orchestral favourites like Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre and Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No.5.

Pre-concert lecture and talk 6.15pm – with Dr Simon Desbruslais, Lecturer in Music, School of Drama, Music and Screen at the University of Hull.
