Sub-Principal Cello

Chantal Webster studied at the University of Manchester and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Bernard Gregor-Smith and Stefan Popov, respectively. 

Before joining the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in December 2002, Chantal was a member of English National Opera and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and also freelanced with many London orchestras and in West End shows.

Her twenty years with the RPO have flown by with recording and performing throughout the UK, and with travelling the world from California to Japan via Mexico, Finland, Egypt, Russia, China and many other countries in between, playing in wonderful concerts with fabulous conductors.
