Description
Inclusive, fun and accessible for all
Imagine an orchestra concert that welcomes everyone – where fidgeting is fine, chill-out spaces are ready, and the musical joy knows no boundaries.
Do you find it difficult to attend a traditional concert environment? Do you have a child with additional needs, a loved one with dementia, or a wiggly toddler? Our relaxed performances provide an inclusive, fun, and accessible concert designed for audiences of all kinds to enjoy the musical celebration.
Our brilliant presenter and incredible musicians come together to create a concert where you can move, sing, dance or sit quietly, exactly as you wish. No shushing. No stress. Just inspiring orchestral music that welcomes every single person exactly as they are. During the concert, ‘chill out’ spaces will be available for anyone who may need some quiet time before re-entering the auditorium. At the end of the concert, audiences will be invited to take part in optional interactive musical activities led by the RPO musicians themselves.
This concert will be BSL interpreted by Kate Green.
