The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra ranks today not only among the best but also the most versatile orchestras. Under the baton of its Music Director Vasily Petrenko, the orchestra will play a one-night only classical music concert in Abu Dhabi featuring works of Elgar and Korngold. To celebrate the composer's 150th birthday, Sergei Rachmaninoff’s magnificent and widely popular Symphony No. 2 in E minor will be performed. For Erich Korngold’s Violin Concerto, the orchestra will be joined by young Canadian-American multiple competition winner Timothy Chooi, who is widely regarded as one of the most thrilling upcoming violin stars worldwide.
