Find inspiration and indulge your senses in this programme of enduring orchestral favourites, beginning with sounds of sunrise, birdsong and a spring-like optimism in Grieg’s Peer Gynt. Recognised for her ‘dazzling display of assured technique’ (The Guardian), Italian pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell will make her debut at Cadogan Hall performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1.
Regarded as one of the greatest orchestral works of the twentieth century, Elgar’s Enigma Variations continues to intrigue audiences, with its main theme hidden amongst a characterful set of musical dedications to the composer’s friends and loved ones.
The safety of our audiences is of paramount importance. Government guidelines and safety measures are followed at all the venues in which the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs to ensure that you are able to enjoy the performance in a safe, comfortable environment.
