Sussex Sings Christmas

Join in with a county-wide virtual Christmas carol to be streamed on Wednesday 23rd December at 6pm.

Every December since 2003 Brighton Festival Chorus has filled Brighton Dome Concert Hall with a popular mixture of carols, festive jokes, and glorious seasonal music led by their Music Director, James Morgan, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and joined by the acclaimed Brighton Festival Youth Choir and guest soloists.

This year, the Brighton Festival Chorus are bringing this festive tradition to you at home and we want to get all of Sussex singing!

And we will create two community ‘virtual’ choirs to sing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brighton choruses. These community carols will be streamed as part of our festive concert! You can also record your favourite Christmas cracker joke for us  – the best (or worst!), will be included in the concert.

Find out how to get involved HERE . Send your recordings by Wednesday 9th December and tune in on Wednesday 23rd December at 6pm to watch a very special Christmas concert full of festive favourites, traditional carols, Christmas jokes and more! A joyful concert full of Christmas sparkle and cheer!
