From Grieg’s wild In the Hall of the Mountain King (from Peer Gynt) and selections from Mussorgsky’s colourful Pictures at an Exhibition to the wonder of nature with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee and Delibes’ Flower Duet (from Lakmé), the concert is packed full with well-known tunes.
