New work specially commissioned by Classical Road Show for performance by symphony orchestra, narrators and massed childrens' voices. Music and lyrics by Richard Brown. Script and lyrics by Sarah Harding and Fern Dickson.
Hear thrilling stories from a spitfire pilot and from his sister who works as a secret radar operator. And sing the children's songs about their everyday life in Britain; digging for victory, tracking down spies, their experiences in the air raid shelters and meeting refugee children.
