The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Salisbury to open the 2017 Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival under the baton of Danish conductor Christian Kluxen. Mendelssohn’s music for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, sprinkled in fairy dust and bathed in moonlight, sets the mood for Berlioz’s beautiful song-cycle for soprano, whilst Tchaikovsky’s 'Pathètique' Symphony is charged with orchestral drama and passion.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Kari Postma is no longer able to perform, however we are delighted to welcome Stephanie Marshall in her place.
