Need to know
11-18 year old percussionists are invited to attend an exclusive Q&A session with the phenomenal percussionist, Dame Evelyn Glennie, ahead of her concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at The Hexagon on Wednesday 8 June. The Q&A will be preceded by an open rehearsal with the orchestra. Details for the day are as follows:
3pm Open RPO rehearsal (this is the orchestra only – not with Evelyn. Attendance optional) – HEX Auditorium
4.30pm Open rehearsal – Evelyn with the RPO – HEX Auditorium
5.15pm Q&A with Evelyn – HEX Lower Foyer
6pm Finish
Places for this event are limited, so early booking is essential. All U18s must be accompanied by an adult, but please no more than one adult per U18. If an adult is happy to be responsible for a group of U18s, that would be great.
