Live At Chelsea: Chelsea Fireworks Prom

The Live At Chelsea concert series 2016 will kick off with a bang, quite literally, as the opening evening features the inaugural Chelsea Fireworks Prom, soundtracked by the magnificent Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, at the home of the Chelsea Pensioners.

Cementing itself as a must-see event in the summer calendar for 20,000 music-goers, Live At Chelsea – a three-day concert series – is hosted in a fully seated auditorium in the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s central courtyard.

Andy Hickling, MBE – MBIFM, Director of Estates, Facilities, Commercial and Quartermaster at the Royal Chelsea Hospital said: “After a fantastic line up in 2015, we are delighted that we will be welcoming music fans to the Royal Hospital Chelsea again next summer. The historic home is one of London’s architectural gems and offers a stunning backdrop to the world-class artists who will be performing.

“A portion of the ticket sale proceeds will also go towards funding care for the Chelsea Pensioners (retired soldiers) who live here [at the Royal Hospital Chelsea], as well as helping to fund the ongoing maintenance of the Grade I listed site. All who manage to get tickets are guaranteed to experience a very special evening.”
