The opening concert of our Symphonic Soundscapes mini-series

After the roaring success of From Paris to New York, Alexander Shelley has compiled another series focusing on music by eminent composers Sibelius and Prokofiev. Conducting and presenting these concerts, the RPO’s Principal Associate Conductor is knowledgeable, dynamic and engaging.

Also joining him onstage is the young pianist Anna Fedorova, performing Prokofiev’s sublime Third Piano Concerto. From calm and melancholic to powerful and passionate, the first concert of the new series has something for everyone.
