The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra brings the Guildford International 2015-16 Orchestral Season to a rousing conclusion with Tchaikovsky’s epic Symphony No.5, a piece with a hauntingly slow movement and elemental finale.
The concert begins with Borodin’s richly colourful Prince Igor Overture, and features the supremely talented Alexandra Dariescu who performs Rachmaninov’s virtuosic Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
