Join world-class musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and be enchanted by Stravinsky’s exciting and mystical The Firebird Suite.
The piece paints a picture of the Russian folktales of the magical glowing Firebird who is caught by a prince and agrees to help him rescue a princess and defeat an immortal villain.
Designed for Early Years and Juniors, these sessions include songs, musical games and a chance to talk to players about what life is really like in the Orchestra. Participants will also hear beautiful romantic melodies performed by the musicians, and will then be encouraged to create their own dreamy tunes in response! .
No instrumental skills are necessary for these sessions, but if you can play, please bring your instrument along. Adults can also join in the fun.
