The RPO and Hull Integrated Community Stroke Service have teamed up to deliver a pioneering service offering stroke rehabilitation through group creative music making. Over a series of intensive workshops, stroke therapists and professional musicians will work with stroke sufferers in Hull to devise an original piece of music while working towards rehabilitation goals including improved arm and hand movement, memory skills and mood improvements.
The programme will culminate in a live performance by stroke patients and RPO musicians at Hull City Hall on 1st October.
