Join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for an enchanting evening of elegant Viennese classics this autumn. Bringing together instantly recognisable waltzes, charming melodies and graceful performances, the Orchestra will bring a hint of old-world Vienna to Crawley for your enjoyment.

Violinist Duncan Riddell will lead the Orchestra in an evening that will feature pieces from Vienna’s ‘Waltz King’ Strauss II, including his Blue Danube Waltz, which, as well as becoming an unofficial Austrian national anthem, was used prominently in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. The concert will also include Strauss II’s energetic Thunder and Lightning Polka, Perpetuum Mobile and The Cuckoo Polka.
