Film Music Gala - The Baths Hall

Due to popular demand, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returns to The Baths Hall with their critically-acclaimed Film Music Gala.
A sensational concert for all the family, the Orchestra will be performing award-winning music by famous composers including John Williams, John Barry, Hans Zimmer and Elmer Bernstein, with a magical programme of music from all time classic films to recent Hollywood blockbusters.

Programme to include music from:

Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, The Great Escape, Chariots of Fire, Indiana Jones and much more!

As part of RPO resound's Behind the Lines series, this concert opens with young musicians from the Scunthorpe Music Centre playing alongside the Orchestra. The specially formed group performs a newly created piece, which has been composed by young participants during a two-day education project, in which they were inspired by composers and themes from the First World War.
