Chapel Down, England’s leading wine producer, today announces a multi-year partnership as the Official English Sparkling Wine of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO).
The partnership brings together two leading British organisations united by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, quality and broadening access to exceptional cultural experiences. Chapel Down, based in Kent, shares the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s pioneering approach, engaging new and diverse audiences while celebrating modern British creativity.
Marking its 80th anniversary this year, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is committed to making orchestral music accessible to all and continues to attract new audiences through its forward-thinking programming and diverse range of performances. Alongside residencies around the UK and concerts at its London venues, the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Cadogan Hall, the Orchestra performs internationally and across genres, creating soundtracks for film, television and video games, and collaborating with world-renowned artists including Elton John and Rod Stewart.
Through this new partnership, Chapel Down will be served at the Orchestra’s principal concerts, with both organisations collaborating on a programme of joint activity, hospitality and events.
The partnership forms part of Chapel Down’s growing portfolio of collaborations with leading British organisations. The brand is the Official Sparkling Wine of Royal Ascot, England Cricket and The Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race. Its wines are also served by the British government at state and diplomatic events, and Chapel Down is an official supplier to the London Stock Exchange.
