Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Take part in an epic superhero battle against some dastardly villains in this heroic family concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Valiant young audience members unite with our band of musical champions in a contest of good vs evil, led by the brave Tim Steiner.

There's something for everyone in this thrilling orchestral performance, packed full with tales of the great caped crusaders, engaging interactive activities and well-known music.

Featuring a host of popular classical pieces, such as Grieg's exhilarating In the Hall of the Mountain King, Wagner's triumphant Ride of the Valkyries and music from Prokofiev's powerful Romeo and Juliet, alongside epic film music favourites such as Jurassic Park and Star Wars.

Don't forget to join the musicians in donning your favourite costumes for the show – everyone's welcome, from superheroes and baddies to princesses and sports stars!

Age range: A family show suitable for adults and children aged 5-12. 

Duration: approximately 70 minutes with no interval.
