Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy collating RPO data for Arts Council England; we thought you may be interested to know the headline figures:

During the 2019/20 financial year, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra gave 190 concerts, performing to a live audience of nearly 500,000 people. The RPO played for 133 recording sessions and our community and education programme RPO Resound delivered 330 workshops benefitting 10,500 participants. In addition, we reached an audience of millions worldwide through our online and digital channels, including streaming sites such as Spotify, which achieved an impressive 4.25 million listeners per month.

All in all a very busy year for the RPO!
