Behind the Lines project with Westminster Music Library - Register Now!
17 July 2013
Behind the Lines is a year-long project, inspired by the centenary of the First World War, that Westminster Music Library
and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
will be running across Westminster & Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Ė we would love for you to be involved!
Beginning in September 2013, educational leaders and world-class musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will lead a series of interactive workshops and creative projects for families, adults and schoolchildren; with no experience necessary and all abilities welcome, there's certainly something for everyone!
Participants will find out about music and composers that were inspired by the First World War including Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Butterworth, Bliss and Holst. There will also be the opportunity to hear some of this fascinating music being played by the Orchestra at their beautiful London home, Cadogan Hall.
Places for this unique project will be limited, donít miss your chance to be part of something amazing by registering your interest here.
