With the help of RPO resound (the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s community and education programme), six youth ensembles from Brent, Enfield and Haringey, along with a 3,500 strong choir of children from local primary schools, were given the chance to perform alongside professional musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at one of London’s most iconic venues, the Royal Albert Hall. The specially-formed orchestra played an original piece composed by participants from all six musical ensembles, led by James Redwood and conductor Nicholas Collon.
