This fun and accessible week-long course, hosted by members of the world-famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, offers an exciting experience for all young musicians. Join with like-minded individuals to explore orchestral music, develop improvisation skills and play in ensembles.

The RPO resound Summer School will inspire and challenge any young aspiring musician. Aimed at developing musicianship and creativity, there are only a few requirements: to be willing to work as a team, come up with lots of great ideas … oh, and be prepared to have plenty of fun!

Participants will be supported through this unique and beneficial course by a team of first-class musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Artistic Director Paul Griffiths, who are there to help every step of the way.

The course is open to musicians aged 12 to 18 with Grade 5 or above on an orchestral instrument. There are no auditions and places are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis so please book early (booking closes 1st July 2010).
