Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

A wonderful celebration of the rise of Big Band and Dance Band music in the UK. Including a selection of golden favourites from the days of the BBC Dance Orchestra under the batons of Jack Payne and Henry Hall through to the music of legendary band leaders including Jack Hylton, Harry Roy, Ambrose, Geraldo, Ted Heath, John Dankworth, Joe Loss - and the music of today as played by the BBC Big Band. This concert will definitely have you tapping your toes in time!
