Great British composers feature in this concert, which includes musical gems inspired by World War One; from the music of the hit TV series Downton Abbey and award-winning show War Horse to Butterworth’s evergreen The Banks of Green Willow.

Soloist Laura van der Heijden (Winner of BBC’s Young Musician of the Year 2012) shows off her promising talent as she performs Elgar’s moving Cello Concerto.
