KARL JENKINS The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace

The RPCO perform with Karl Jenkins his two most popular choral works: Requiem and The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. Karl Jenkins wrote his Requiem in 2005 and dedicated it to the memory of his father, 'a musician and an inspiration'. It follows the Catholic Mass but includes five Japanese haiku poems. The Armed Man he wrote in 1999 to mark the move of the Royal Armouries Museum from London to Leeds.
