Pianist Peter Jablonski takes to the stage for Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. One of Rachmaninov’s most exuberant works, the Rhapsody is full of superb orchestration and, at the heart of the piece, a ravishing version of the theme.

To round off this sparkling programme, Rimsky-Korsakov’s intoxicating interpretation of the Arabian Nights, Scheherazade, brims with colourful sonorities and exotic, seductive melodies.
