A charming and intimate programme of classical gems. Acclaimed young British clarinettist Julian Bliss takes centre stage to perform Mozart’s ever-popular Clarinet Concerto. Composed during the last months of Mozart's life, it is a work rich in expressive melodies and ethereal beauty.

Framing this exquisite Concerto are two works which will showcase the technical skill and luxurious string tone of the Orchestra. Opening with Mozart’s delightful Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, the programme is completed with Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. In the dual role of soloist and director, RPO leader Clio Gould is the ideal virtuoso to perform this well-loved set of four violin concertos.
