ROSSINI The Barber of Seville Overture

MENDELSSOHN Violin Concerto

DVORAK Symphony No.9, 'From the New World'

Back by popular demand, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returns with another first-class programme of classical greats. Talented violinist Chloë Hanslip joins the Orchestra for Mendelssohn’s exquisite Violin Concerto, a work full of freshness, spontaneity and luscious melodies. This is framed by Rossini’s rousing Overture and Dvorak’s celebrated ‘New World’ Symphony, well known for its heartfelt slow movement which was famously used in the Hovis bread advert.
